Paul Barbour operates as an independent licensed insurance representative. All insurance business is processed through Gryphin Insurance (Managing General Agent). Insurance companies may pay performance-based bonuses on commission volume in addition to standard commissions.
To maintain insurance licensing, Paul Barbour completes mandatory continuing education through industry seminars, professional development programs, and relevant conferences.
Monetary: Commission-based compensation from insurance companies, calculated as a percentage of premium paid, varying by product type and provider.
Non-Monetary: Eligibility for industry conferences sponsored by insurance companies based on sales volume. Promotional incentives that could influence product recommendations are not accepted.
Should any conflict of interest arise, clients will be notified immediately. Product recommendations are based on suitability for individual client needs rather than commission structure.
Collection: Financial, medical, and personal information is collected as necessary from direct client communications, applications, credit agencies, financial institutions, and client references.
Use: Clients authorize collection and maintenance of information for administering insurance products, fulfilling legal obligations, and sharing with third-party providers as necessary.
Client Rights: Clients may access, review, and request amendments to their information at any time by contacting Paul Barbour directly.
Segregated fund contracts may be held in the nominee name of Gryphin Insurance. Holding contracts in nominee name may impact creditor protection features.
In the event of a declined application or additional premium requirements, clients grant permission to discuss confidential medical, financial, and personal information with listed insurance providers for underwriting purposes.
Clients are not required to transact additional business as a condition of any insurance transaction. Each recommendation stands independently based on merit and suitability.
